Guacamole is the recipe that includes avocado. It's not just avocado. The recipe can vary, but it usually will include onions, tomatoes, garlic, and jalapenos, in addition to the avocado.
Amazing food and even better service! Please support this family business to get back up and running in this time of rebuilding!
Waited 20 minutes for any kind of service. Waitress looked at us 3 times. 5 other tables sat and waited on. Still no service for us. We landed up walking out. Very disappointed, all we wanted was a beer and nachos.
A wonderful restaurant very festive and colorful atmosphere. Very friendly service and authentic Mexican food highly recommend
Great food. Local recipe burrito has amazing flavor. Great service.
This place was recommended by the checkin person at the hotel next door and it didn't disappoint. Food was very good; not fancy but good, simple, comfort Mexican food. I had the beef enchiladas and the beef had nice flavor to it. Very nice margarita. They are having some supply issues due to the current situation but were handling it well and with good humor.
Food was great. Employer was friendly.
The service was terrible to begin with. Took about an hour to and hour in a half to get out food. Took twenty minutes to get my Dr Pepper. And anything that was fried smelled and tasted like fish. And it really says something that when you can eat and throw it back up in the same restaurant. If I could give zero stars I would. Me and my boyfriend payed thirty dollars for food that is in their toilet!
Was good they were friendly and service was good 😊
Best food in the valley. Only place i know of that makes Sopas. .mmm mmm
Waited over an hr to get food. And it took 15 min to even get a menu. Than the waitress blamed the food. Saying that the Carne asada takes longer and that the cooks skipped us in the line. I was charged an extra drink when I said I didnt want one. RESERVE AND ORDER OVER PHONE 1HR PRIOR
The deco, the people and the food were awesome. Loved it.
Hands down some of the best Mexican food around! I have been to quite a few as I love Mexican. Their food is not overly spicy and you can taste the flavors in every bite! Chile Reno was excellent as well. I am not sure what the negative reviews are talking about at all. The restaurant is extremely clean and well kept. We live over an hour a way and will most definitely be back!
Their hot sauce they serve with the chips is quite good, the verm & beans were good and the rest of the food was okay I guess, but they really need to discover salt and spices for their rather bland meats. While the portions are very generous, I think the prices are fairly high considering the mediocre food quality
Excellent service and food! We had more than a dozen people for lunch. Service was immediate and good!!
They were gracious to give a 10% discount for our being guests at the motel. The staff was so friendly, the Margaritas were excellent (I had mine shaken). We had been eating a lot of TexMex on the bus tour, so I was thrilled to have a very good regular steak dinner with salad and fries. My other traveling companions enjoyed their drinks and meals as well. Thanks to all at Felisa's !!
The food is good.... but last night I waited 45 minutes after I order my food to get my. Yes it was hot, but the table next to me came in order there food and got there food, but the thing is I ordered my food 20 minutes before they ever came in the bldg.
Really nice atmosphere. Great prices. If you don't want fast food, but are on a budget, this is a good option in La Junta. The food was good...3 or 4 stars for sure.
Great food with great service. Plenty of space and very clean.
Food was alright, salsa was quite disappointing, but staff was great
Felisa’s is a staple of the La Junta community and a gathering place for several community groups. They offer a space large enough for private parties and have a liquor license to encourage a margarita with dinner. The menu is familiar—enchiladas, tostadas, green chili—served up in a family atmosphere. The property offers space and the opportunity for patrons to spread out and to stay awhile to enjoy conversation and to catch up with friends.
The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. They were all very accommodating as well. The prices were good. The food was just incredibly salty, which made it difficult to eat. I probably would not come back here, but it was overall a good experience.
Great food, friendly staff... prompt service
Good people good food, great atmosphere;)
Long waits. Waiting to be seated. Waiting for drinks. Waiting to place an order. Needs more tables, wait staff, etc. The current wait staff are run ragged and unable to give nice service.
Called ahead to place an order, the phone rang and rang. Finally placed me order, 2 very standard items, and drove over. I arrivied about 20 minutes later and I was the only customer there it still took the 2 women chatting on the other side of the room 8 long minutes to acknowledge me. I said I placed an order and the disappear into the kitchen for 10 minutes before coming out to ask if i was sure. I said yes im quite sure and she left again returning with a bag saying she found it. She then sat the bag down at the register and disappeared again. I stood there waiting to pay for what seemed like forever finally she starts ring up the 2 items I ordered, only to stop and take a phone call until I finally just left money on the counter. On top of all that rude the food was a cold, congealed, mess. We're local and we won't be returning again for sure.
Sooo, good. And the waitress Alice had a lot to take care of but she was super nice. Will visit again when I am in town again
The food and drinks were good. The waitstaff need to check back more often. I'm sure they could have sold a couple more margaritas at my table if they had been a little more attentive
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.
It only took us 2 1/2 years to try this restaurant and it was DELICIOUS! We lived in San Diego for over 10 years and the restaurant and food was the most authentic we've had since moving here.. Super friendly staff too!!! ❤
Great hospitality, good pretty genuine Mexican food and good atmosphere. Love it.
This is a great place a good food
Pleasant and friendly Staff . Foods great too.
Good Mexican Food and for a Fair Price Nice Atmosphere
The food was great and the staff was very friendly and on top of keeping our drinks cooked and cheating the table. Definitely would recommend it.
Good food, friendly wait staff, nice atmosphere
Great food and great staff! Lost one star only because it was cold enough inside that we needed a coat.
This place is only ok. Was not super impressed. Not very authentic. Even the salsa, not so much salsa as it was enchalida sauce from a can, that's my guess anyway. But considering our 1st meal in town was mcdonalds, this place was a 4star restaurant by comparison. Service was good. We would eat there again. Not alot of choices walking distance from the Hampton. Also, mention you are staying at the Hampton and you get 10% off your meal.
Place was clean, very friendly staff and food was good, reasonable priced and generous portions. The only reason I am leaving 4, not 5 star review only because for erhinic restaurant we were surprised some of the staples such as cilantro or salsa verde were unavailable. Salsa given as an appetizer also locked flavor. Over all good experience, would try again.
Excellent food, homemade and attention to detail was spot on. Every morsel and sauce was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful while navigating the menu and ordering. The owner and I discussed her cooking techniques as I paid the bill. Hopefully I will return to this area so I can eat here again one day.
Great place! Love going there whenever I'm in town!!!
Yummy foods. Very authenic
Good food and nice family atmosphere. On the high end of price range, but not extremely so. The quality definitely makes it worth it.
Good food, great service.
Great service and yummy food! My husband and my dad ordered the special and they couldn't stop talking about great it tasted.
I could not stop eating, the chicken is delicious. Great staff. Great atmosphere.
New look great food with amazing people who work and eat there!! Love this place
Love Felisa’s special. Service is always good, and restaurant is clean and well maintained.
Good food, good price. Service was ok, but we did have a large group. I'll definitely return when we pass through again. The photo is the #2 dinner with a side of vermicelli and a Pacifico. Great beer selection and bar.
Friendly service, great atmosphere, good food.
The service is awesome! I highly recommend the carna asada and a mango margarita!
